Obituary of Olimpiada Ussataja

Olimpiada Ussataja, age 93 of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. Olimpiada was born in Russia on June 26, 1928, a daughter of Peter and Sofia (Mikus) Usaty. She worked for Chemical Bank, and enjoyed yardwork, shopping, and time with family and friends. Olimpiada is survived by her brother, Palladij "Paul" Usaty of Wellsboro, PA; niece Anna "Anya" (Gerhard "Gary") Tyson of Wellsboro, PA; nephew Walter (Donna) Muratschew of New Jersey, as well as several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Angelina (Alex) Muratschew, sister-in-law Tatiana Usaty, and niece Maria Nelius. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 8, at 11:00 AM at the Russian Orthodox Convent Novo-Diveevo, 100 Smith Rd, Nanuet, NY 10954. Burial will be in the Russian Orthodox cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Olimpiada's memory to the Russian Orthodox Convent Novo-Diveevo.
