Obituary of Mary Sherman

Mary Elizabeth "Sis" Sherman, age 82, of Mansfield, PA, passed away at her residence on Friday, July 1, 2022. She was born on January 3, 1940, in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Ralph and Elizabeth (Gaylord) Youmans. Mary was a telephone operator and caregiver and was a member of River of Life Fellowship. She enjoyed practicing her faith, yard sales, spending time with family, playing cards, and reading. Mary is survived by her son, Curtis Sherman of Mansfield, PA; a daughter, Kimberly (Steve) Aumick of Mainesburg, PA; three grandchildren, Chad (Mari) Aumick, Daron (Kayla Doan) Aumick, and Bridgett (Ben Hoefs) Crossman; four great grandchildren, Chase Aumick, Clayton Aumick, Benjamin Crossman, and Allie Hoefs; a brother, Ralph "Mike" Youmans of Wellsboro, PA; and two sisters, Norma "Tootie" Aumick of Mainesburg, PA and Linda Smith of Mansfield, PA. Friends and family are invited to call from 12P.M. to 1P.M. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1 P.M. with Pastor Keith Paris officiating. Burial will take place in Tioga County Memorial Gardens.
