Obituary of Sandra L. Marcusky
Sandra L. (Morgan) Marcusky, age 78, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 at her home with family by her side.
Sandy was born December 28, 1943 in Wellsboro, PA, the daughter of the late Elwyn and Louise (Dawson) Morgan of Antrim.
She was a 1963 graduate of Wellsboro-Charleston Joint Senior High School and greatly enjoyed working with many special coworkers at Corning Incorporated until her retirement. She enjoyed horseback riding, socializing, and chicken barbecues with family and friends.
On September 29, 2007, she married Frank Marcusky, who survives.
In addition to her husband, Sandy is survived by: her beloved son, Brian (Gwen) Button of Knoxville; step-children, Robert (Lisa) Marcusky of Springfield, MO, Mecca (Carlos) Miron of Muncy, PA, Katya Marcusky of Eugene, OR, April (Mike Regan) Marcusky of Decatur, TN, Deborah (Daryl) Cevette of Painted Post, NY, Scott (Staci) Towner of Costa Messa, CA, and Christine (Scott Sorensen) Towner of Elkland; brothers, Ralph (Jean) Morgan of Panama City, FL and Lloyd Morgan of Mansfield; devoted sister, Cheryl (Gary) Keeney of Middlebury Center; grandchildren, Andrew and Brandon Button, Michael Marcusky, Sabrina, Samantha, and Maria Miron, Hannah Marcusky, Xander Marcusky, Ariana Decker, Kylee Decker, Ethan Harkness, Stephanie O'Sullivan, Michael and Samantha Jones, Hunter Towner, and Matthew Holdren; many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Special friends, Elaine Good, Bernice Lauterborn, and Lynnette Sutton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: husbands, Ellis Button and Robert Towner; brothers Roger and Larry Morgan; sisters, Deborah Orr and Marsha Shaw; and nephew, Tony Morgan.
In honoring Sandy's wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Burial will be made in Niles Valley Cemetery, Middlebury Center, PA. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
