Obituary of Donna Chapman
Donna (Combs) Chapman, age 84, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Three Rivers Nursing Home in Painted Post, NY. She was born on July 5, 1937 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Lee and Wilda (Goodwin) Combs. Donna was married to the late Garland E. Chapman who passed away on October 22, 2004. She owned Short's Bar and worked as a flagger in construction. Donna was a member of a snowmobile club, motorcycle club, Arnot Sportsmen's Club, and the Wellsboro Moose.
Donna is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Clifford (Dru) Short of Tioga, PA; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila Mortimer of Tioga, PA, Crystal (Steve) Stage of Lawrenceville, PA, Vonda (Doug) Wimmer of Arnot, PA; a step son James Chapman of York, PA; three step daughters, Karen Merica of York, PA, Fay Lambert of York, PA, and Kay Yeager of York, PA; eight grandchildren;; fifteen great grandchildren; a step daughter-in-law Stephanie Chapman of York, PA and two sisters, Patricia Bailey of PA, and Mary Lou (Ron) Benjamin of Mansfield, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a step son, Frank Chapman; and grandson, Devin Stage.
In honoring Donna's wishes, there will be no public services. Burial will take place in Middlebury Union Cemetery. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
