Dear Compton Family,
Where do I start? Big Ted was like a second dad to me when I was a young teenager. The whole family was so welcoming and I loved the farm where Little Tedd and I would ride dirt bikes and listen to music. I cherish those memories.
Big Ted was a great friend to my mother and father when they lived in Middlebury Center. Mom and sister, Dixie, just visited Big Ted last summer at his house. He was a great neighbor and when we lost Dad, Big Ted was nearby by to help Mom with anything she needed. He had a heart bigger than the whole outdoors! He was greatly loved and will be missed.

What a wonderful man he was to me - I always felt like family and looked forward to visiting with him… a “quick game of cards” will be among all my memories. Hugs and love to all of you.

I have quite a few memories of Mr.Ted growing up. He liked to gently pull on my braids at church when I would walk by him. He also was a person who liked to smile and tell a story. I enjoyed his friendship over the years and his family are all wonderful people. He will be missed here on this earth, but our heavenly reunion will be so awesome and great. We will see you soon.

Very sorry to read this. Ted was a great man. I waitressed at a very busy Dairyland Farms when Ted & Vida, and the Fish’s owned it. I have many great memories of times spent there working for those fine folks. Sending prayers of Peace & Comfort to Ted’s family.
