Obituary of Burdette J. Weber
Burdette J. Weber, age 85, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at The Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. He was born on August 14, 1936 in Ischua, NY, a son of William and Bernice (Yaw) Weber. Burdette was married to Betty J. (Wilson) Weber. He was a butter maker and truck driver for Dietrich's Milk Plant for 44 years. Burdette was an avid hunter and enjoyed puzzles and walking.
Burdette is survived by his wife; daughter, Sandra Weber (Alan) Haight of Watsontown, PA; three grandchildren, Nathan Haight of Watsontown, PA, Donelle Weber of Asaph, PA, and Amanda Bower of Asaph, PA; three great grandchildren, Kendra Bower of Asaph, PA, Cody Merrick of Houston, TX, and Brandon Bower of Williamsport, PA; four sisters-in-law, Shirley Weber of Wellsboro, PA, Mary Wilson of Sweden Valley, PA, Patty Ellis of Asaph, Phyllis Wilson of Covington, PA; a brother-in-law Jack (Linda) Wilson of Tioga, PA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Weber Bower; a son, James Weber; two brothers, Billy and Royce; and four sisters, Vivian, Grace, Beulah, and Violet.
Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 12-1pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 1pm with Reverend Dr. Joseph McNamara officiating. Burial will take place in Niles Valley Cemetery in Middlebury Center, PA.
