Obituary of Linda Roupp

Linda (Bower) Roupp, peacefully went into the arms of Jesus on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the Green Home in Wellsboro. Linda was born September 1, 1946 in Blossburg, PA to John and Evelyn Bower. She was blessed to still be in love with her high school sweetheart, her husband John, who survives her. They celebrated over 55 years of love and marriage since their union on June 4, 1966. While she had a variety of jobs cooking and caring for others, her greatest passions were her home and family. She was also a member of Arnot Community Church and Arnot's Sportsmen's Club. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Aaron (Keith) Roupp of Houston TX; a daughter, Rebecca (William) Hulslander of Troy PA; four amazing grandchildren, and her loving primary caregiver, Maureen Bailey. She is also survived by her siblings, Richard (Ethel) Bower of Newberry OH, John (June) Bower of Troy PA, Dale (Kathy) Bower of Auburn NY, and Robert (Marilyn) Bower of Covington PA, Eloise Hilfiger of Covington PA, Jean (Richard) Ogden of Blossburg PA, Jeanette (Gary) Belz of Tioga PA, and Marcille (Ron) Giles of Mansfield, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother and father-in-law whom she adored, and brothers Raymond, David, and William Bower. There will be a time of visitation on Tuesday, March 1 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM, with a Celebration of Life following at 2:00 PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 637 South Main Street, Mansfield PA. Pastor Ahin Chakraborty will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Arnot Community Church, 70 Church Street, Arnot PA 16911.
