Obituary of Sarah E. Davis

Sarah E. Davis, age 84, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Broad Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on August 23, 1937, in Williamsport, PA, a daughter of Samuel and Alice (Eck) Bohart. Sarah was the wife of the late Gene Davis. She worked as a traveling nurse and enjoyed traveling and riding in her car. Sarah is survived by her three daughters, Sarah A. Williammee of Morris, PA, Mary Jackson of Morris, PA, and Joan (Wayne) Staron of Liberty, PA; special grandson and care-giver, Edward Speary of Wellsboro, PA, and six additional grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Broughton of Morris, PA, Willis Speary of Mansfield, PA, Sheldon Staron of Williamsport, PA, Wesley Speary of Pittsburgh, PA, Matthew (Cassandra) Jackson of Morris, PA, and Skyler Staron of Liberty, PA; four great grandchildren, Harley Kilmer, Cooper Broughton, Cassandra Broughton, and Hunter Staron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; her parents; her infant son, Floyd S. Williammee; siblings Jim Eck, Elizabeth Thomas, and Dorothy White. Friends and family are invited to call from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Middle Ridge United Methodist "The Little Red Church", 9 Copp Rd., Wellsboro, PA. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Bill Baker officiating. Burial will take place in the West Branch Cemetery. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA, is assisting the family.
