Obituary of Mary W. Woodson

Mary W. Woodson, age 92, of Liberty, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at her home. She was born on July 29, 1929 in Morris, PA, a daughter of Bert and Trix (Blackwell) Briggs. Mary was married to the late Hilton Woodson. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary is survived by her son, William (Sue) Woodson of Roseburg, OR; two daughters, Dorothy Graham of Liberty, PA, and Patricia Sawyer of Shippensburg, PA; a special niece, Edie May of Tioga, PA; six grandchildren, Steve Sawyer, Jason Sawyer, Mari Aumick, Nicholas Woodson, Heather Trautz, and Neal (Samantha) Graham; eighteen great grandchildren, Ashley, Lacey, A.J., Dalton, and Mackenzi Graham; Maddie, Tyler, Jacob, Ethan, and Levi Sawyer, Chase and Clayton Aumick; Kenzi, Shea, Wyatt, and Abby Woodson, Jace and Bella Trautz; and four great great grandchildren; Lane, Paislee, Andi, and Holden. She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, Brownie, Bob, and Beezer Briggs; a sister, Helen Mae Butler; two sons-in-law, Roger Graham, and Charlie Sawyer; and a grandson, Andy Graham. In honoring Mary's wishes, there will be no services. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
