Obituary of Annamae N. Patterson

Annamae "Sally" Nina (Smith) Patterson, age 81 of Tioga, PA, died Friday, February 04, 2022 at Brookdale Assist Living, Painted Post, NY. She was born in Corning, NY, the daughter of William C and Kathryn (Wilson) Smith. Sally drove school bus for Williamson for years and then worked at Founders Pavillion in Corning until her retirement in 2000. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, camping and loved to play bingo. She was a member of the Lawrenceville Ladies Auxiliary for many years. She was Dolly Parton's biggest fan and a huge fan of Williamson Wrestling. She spent her retirement years RVing with her husband and brothers-in-law traveling the US. Special thanks to her dear friend Betsy Fairbanks, niece Fran Allen and sister Bonnie for all the loving support while battling cancer. Also, thanks to Brookdale Asst Living Facility where she lived the last 6 months. She loved the staff and residents there. She had an outgoing and spunky personality with a kind generous heart. She is survived by her son William Patterson (Nina Freeman) of Mountain Top, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen (Steve); cousins of Murphy, NC; 2 sisters, Bonnie (Smith) Kohler of Campbell, NY and Beatrice Smith of Corning, NY; 4 grandchildren, Neva (Dee) Patterson and Natasha (Phil) Boyer both of Oak Harbor, WA. Sean Harold and Lizzie (Sequoyah) Aquarian of Murphy, NC ; 3 great grandchildren, Mason, Taylor, and Klaus. Brothers-in-law Donald Patterson and Edward Patterson, sister-in-law Arlene (Judd) Price. She was predeceased by her husband Richard C Patterson, brothers William Smith Jr. and Phillip Smith. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Evergreen Cemetery, Tioga Township, Tioga, PA 16946. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA is assisting the family with arrangements.
