Obituary of Richard R. Baker
Richard R. Baker, age 92, of Lecanto, FL, formerly of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in Lecanto, FL. He was born on November 24, 1929 in Tioga, PA, a son of Fred and Lila (Shelman) Baker. Richard was married to the late Norma (Heater) Baker who passed away on February 17, 2020. He was self-employed as a farmer and was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, PA. Richard enjoyed square dancing.
Richard is survived by his son, Timothy (Brenda) Baker of Lecanto, FL; a daughter, Cheryl (Donald) Cramer of Lindley, NY; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; a daughter, Lila Healy; a son, Eugene Baker; two brothers, Robert, and Raymond Baker; and a sister, Polly Davis.
Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 1-2pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Philip Perry officiating. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in Tioga, PA. Memorial contributions can be made to Evergreen Cemetery Association c/o Faye Packard 117 Lake St. Tioga, PA 16946.
