Obituary of Michelle L. Snyder

Michelle L. Snyder, age 46, of Altoona, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at UPMC Altoona Hospital with her boyfriend, Matt, by her side. She was born on February 3, 1975 in Rochester, NY, a daughter of Gwendolyn (Sample) Bennett and Terry Mosher. Michelle was a supervisor for Sheetz and was a member of Grace Alive Church of Altoona. She was a great mother and enjoyed spending time with her boys and grandchildren. Michelle enjoyed fishing, hiking, riding motorcycles with her boyfriend Matt, and playing frisbee with Owen. She loved her dogs. Michelle is survived by her mother, Gwendolyn Bennett of Lawrenceville, PA; her boyfriend, Matthew Detrich of Altoona, PA; two sons, Austin Snyder of Altoona, PA, and Ryan (Logyn) Snyder of Altoona, PA; two grandchildren, Jalen Snyder, and Lyam Snyder; four sisters, Brandi (Darryl) Hoffman of Lawrenceville, PA, Shanan Lovell of Lawrenceville, PA, Karin (Dave) Pinkham of ME, and Kristin (Mike) Renbarger of ME; five nieces and nephews, Dakota Kohler, Nick Lovell, Brad Lovell, Andrew Christensen, and Damieon Horton; two uncles, Clifford (LuAnne) Smith of Middlebury, PA, and Benjamin (Brandy) Smith of Savona, NY; and two aunts, Stella (Bob) Campbell of Bath, NY, Debbie (Don) Howard of SC. She was preceded in death by a niece, Alisha Christensen; and her two dogs (babies), Prince and Joker. Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 12-2pm at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home 719 N. 4th Ave. Altoona, PA. A funeral service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Tracy Plessenger officiating. Call again on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 12-2pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating.
