Obituary of Betty J. Young
Betty J. Young, age 90, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 at her home. She was born on January 12, 1931 in Corning, NY, a daughter of Leon and Ruby (Youngs) Enderle. Betty was married to the late Russell L. Young who passed away on May 16, 2009. She enjoyed crafts, gambling, and scratch off tickets.
Betty is survived by her son, Michael (Mary) Young of Elkland, PA; three daughters, Doris (Richard) Schmidt of Tioga, PA, Delores (Allen) Arnold of Elkland, PA, and Judy (James) LaShure of Painted Post, NY; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and a sister, Donna Schoonover of Painted Post, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband; four brothers, Robert, Ronald, Wayne, and Gerald Enderle; a sister, Arlene Welty; and two great grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 11am-12pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 12pm. Burial will take place in Nelson Cemetery.
