Obituary of James E. Dougherty
James E. Dougherty, age 73, of Morris, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at his home. He was born on December 6, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of Alfred and Elizabeth (Brady) Dougherty. James worked as a cabinet maker for Carpenters Union Local #158. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
James is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Shanna Dougherty of Downingtown, PA; two grandchildren, Riley Dougherty, and Owen Snyder; and a nephew, Robert Dougherty of Philadelphia, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Robert Dougherty.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
