Betsy and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing. I know you all will be missing him greatly. John was such a good friend to my John (Davis). They met daily at Dunkin in Wellsboro for coffee and shared funny stories. John was always willing to help too. Such a wonderful friend. I can see them having laughs and visits over coffee every day in Heaven. RIP John.

31 years... 31 years I got to call you Pop-Pop thanks for being the best grandfather a grandson could've ask for. You were a huge influence in my life. You taught me many things in many different ways You showed me what it is to be a family man. You taught me that a job ain't worth doin if it ain't done right and I've carried that with me and it's made me a better person because of YOU. You were there for so many of my firsts, from humeruns to two district champions to my first buck and bear. You were there to see me get married. You got to see me grow up and become the person I am today. You were at every game if we won by 10 runs or lost by 3 touchdowns you always said Hell of a game buckshot. Tonight I'm hunting next to our tree a tree that we spent many years and hours by, sometimes hunting but most the time laughing and telling stories, I use to get lost the stories you would tell even if I had heard them 100 times. Then we would have our annual discussion on how you thought dipping egg salad sandwiches in hot coco was the best lunch a man could have. I was spoiled with how much one on one time we spent together and I'm surely grateful for it.
It's not goodbye but I'll see ya again. You sure were one of the good ones.

John was a ‘one of a kind’ friend. So enjoyed his wit and wisdom! I will always remember John’s greeting to me no matter where or when he saw me . It was ‘Chelo Harlot’ not hello Charlotte. He will be sorely missed. So sorry for your loss, my friend, Betsy. May God bring his peace to your heart at this time.
