Obituary of Franklin A Bernstein
Franklin A. Bernstein, age 90, of Middlebury Center, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 21, 1931, in West Hazleton, PA, the son of Franklin and Sofia (Danko) Bernstein. Franklin was married to Kay Bernstein who passed away on January 16, 2012. He was a wildlife conservation officer for the PA Game Commission. Franklin was a member of Wellsboro United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and biking.
Franklin is survived by his sons, William (Kristy Parslow) Bernstein of Knoxville, PA, and Robert Bernstein of FL; and a stepdaughter, Diana (David) Robinson of Wellsboro, PA; six grandchildren; and one sister, Jeanne Cressman of MI. He was preceded in death by his wife and three sisters, Evelyn Buss, Gladys Herbert, Betty Hoffert.
There will be no service at this time. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
