One of my fondest memories of Ed takes place in the 90’s when Ed and I shared Army and Air Force accounts and I was in the DC ares for business. I stayed on Ed’s sail boat and was assigned the forward bunk to sleep; I shared it with the cat and at 6’4 my legs hung down over the edge. We had a blast and shared a few beers.

My sincere condolences to all of Ed’s family.
I remember Ed as our “first neighbor”, when we moved to a new home community in Maryland.
He was a good neighbor and friend. He was also a “hands on” guy who liked to service his own car,
And kept his home well. I remember a time when we went out to dinner, and I had a flat tire on the way.
Before I could say anything, he jumped into action, and popped on the spare, and we were on our way.
He had many interests, and lived life with many activities. Our daughter Annine, and his daughter Kim, were childhood
friends all the way through college and eventually took part in each other’s weddings.
We have such great memories, and will always treasure the privilege to have known him.

Ed was a classmate who you would never forget-smart, talented, disciplined, a unique sense of humor and a smile that would light up any room he entered.
Rest in peace my friend,

While I had never met Ed, I have known Judy for many years through the Army Corps of Engineers. Ed sounds like someone who had some of the same interests as I do, and I think we could have been good friends. He must have been quite a guy and he will be missed. Rest In Peace, Ed.
