Obituary of Jeanette E. Heater

Jeanette E. (Douglas) Heater, age 89, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 her home. She was born on January 14, 1932 in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of Floyd and Eloise (Gleason) Douglas. Jeanette was married to the late Milford Heater, Jr. She was a waitress and cashier at Brackley's in Lawrenceville. Jeanette was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, crocheting, needle point, and crafts. Jeanette is survived by her sons, Dearl (Marti) Heater of Horseheads, NY, and Larry (Lois) Heater of Lawrenceville, PA; three daughters, Ellen Knickerbocker of Tioga, PA, Loretta (Howard) Easton of Addison, NY, and Brenda (Mike) Thomas of Lawrenceville, PA; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and a sister, Christine Hazlett. She was preceded in death by her husband; a granddaughter, Jodi Knickerbocker; and an infant grandson, Dearl Heater, Jr. Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 1-2pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in Tioga, PA.
