Obituary of Michele L. Buckwalter

Michele L. Buckwalter, passed away on November 20, 2021, at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital at the age of 54. She was born on December 16, 1966, a daughter to Daren and Connie (Coudriet) Getty. Michele dearly loved her four beautiful children whom she shared with Brent Buckwalter. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved playing the piano, singing karaoke, and her missionary work in Brazil. Michele is lovingly remembered by her parents, Daren "Gene" and Connie Getty of Williamsport; two sons, Aaron Buckwalter and Mark Buckwalter; two daughters, Adria Buckwalter and Candra Buckwalter; a twin brother, Daren (Tiffany) Getty II; a sister, Stephanie Best; an aunt, Doris Bryan; nieces and nephews, Aidan Best, Caleb, Bailey, and Alexis Getty; and a great-nephew, Trey Cartal. Michele graduated from Williamsport Christian High School in Williamsport, PA. Her amazing attention to detail and love of grammar made her a natural at her job as a proofreader for RPA Inc. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Cornerstone Fellowship Church, 527 River Mill Rd, Jersey Shore, PA 17740 with Pastors Jeff and Tonja Pennycoff officiating. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
