Obituary of William D. Wilson
William D. Wilson age 94 of Covington, PA died peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2008 at the Broad Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wellsboro, PA. He was the husband of the late Nada J. (Marshall) Wilson who died on November 25, 1999. William was born on December 30, 1913 in Wellsboro, PA a son of John and Fannie (Hulslander) Wilson. William was an auto mechanic for over 75 years and was the owner and operator of Wilsons Garage in Covington.
William is survived by six daughters and sons-in-law Dorothy and Burdett Chamberlain of Lawrenceville, PA, Donna and Donald Tiger Johnson of Sayre, PA, Phyllis (James Skaehill) Wilson of Tucson, AZ, Joanne and Richard Marvin of Covington, PA, Cindy and Matthew Weiskopff of Covington, PA, Cathy and Steve Morley of Fillmore, NY, a son and daughter-in-law Donald Buster and Donna Wilson of Blossburg, PA, 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two brothers Verne Wilson of Tacoma Park, MD, Johnny and June Wilson of Elmira, NY and a sister-in-law Lola Mae Wilson of Silver Springs, MD. William was preceded in death by two brothers Cyril and Edward Wilson.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM and Thursday, April 3, 2008 from 1 to 2 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 2 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Ira Hindman officiating. Burial will be in the Gray Cemetery, Covington, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
