Obituary of Doris Arzberger
Doris (McKay) Sherman Arzberger, age 80, of Mainesburg, PA, passed away on October 13, 2021 at her home. She was born on July 2, 1941 in Blossburg, PA a daughter of Harry and Luella (O'Dell) McKay. Doris was a member of Bakerburg Community Church and enjoyed daily devotions. She was devoted to her dog, Patsy and was an unpublished author. Doris enjoyed crocheting. She worked as a CNA for Bradford County Manor for 17 years.
Doris is survived by her son, Rusty (Tammy) Sherman of Roseville, PA; three daughters, Dusty (Robert) Frost of Mansfield, PA, Candy (Jamie) Spencer of Mainesburg, PA, Ginger (Rodney) Spencer of Mainesburg, PA; stepson, James (Jean) Sherman, Jr. of Scranton, PA; eighteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a sister, Lucy (Joe) Sargeant. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Sherman in 1992 and her second husband, Richard Arzberger in 2020; a brother, Harry McKay, Jr.; and a grandson, Joshua Spencer in 2000.
Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 1-2pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow immediately at 2pm with Pastor Bill Pepper officiating. Burial will take place in State Road Cemetery in Mainesburg, PA. Memorial contributions can be made to Second Chance Animal Care Sanctuary 725 Gee Rd. Tioga, PA 16946.
