Today, I discovered that Hazel is gone. My condolences to family and friends. Hazel had hardships, but she was a cheerful person. She looked out for me for many years while we were Covington neighbors. She said, “You are my favorite neighbor girl…my only neighbor girl!”
I knew Hazel for many years, and renewed our friendship when I was in BA for rehab after a fall. We had many good visits & I shared a story about her beloved husband Joe. Years before we were seated next to them at a Masonic Temple event. When the lights dimmed, Joe started to pass candy to me. This went on until I had to refuse as I was getting a sugar high. Hazel got a kick because That was Joe! My sincere and heartfelt sympathy to her family. RIP dear Hazel
