Obituary of Frances Johnson
Frances E. Johnson, age 70, of Mansfield, PA, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, September 11, 2021. She was born on February 27, 1951, in Montrose, PA, a daughter of Bruce and Elizabeth (McCollum) Foote. Frances worked as an aid for Capabilities in Elmira, NY. She enjoyed cookouts and spending time with her grandchildren and her daughter-in-law Deanna Johnson.
Frances is survived by her sons, Walter Foote and Jonathan (Deanna) Johnson, both of Mansfield, PA; daughter, Cheyann (Kevin) Bright of North Carolina; grandchildren, Joseph, Cassondra, Jacob, Dawson, Adreanna and Gabriella Johnson, Tyler and Zachary Foote, Rebecca Vester, Erica Donovan, Courtney Brewer and Danee Jo Huston; great grandchildren, Jaeighlynn, Nalanah, and Kayleah Fontanez and Dimitri Jones; brothers, Richard (Mary) Foote of Montrose, PA and LeRoy Foote of Poway, CA; sisters, Barbara Stoltenberg of Poway, CA and Edith Foote of WA. Frances also held a special place in her heart for her nephew Chris Foote of Wilkes-Barre, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Elizabeth (McCollum) Foote; brothers, David and Bruce Foote; and her best friend Robin Johnson.
A celebration of Frances' life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at the residence. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. is assisting the family.
