Obituary of Ethel House

Ethel "Ellie" (Youmans) House, age 77, of Morris, PA died on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. Ellie was the wife of the late Raymond W. House who died in 2010. She was born on September 26, 1943, in Bradford, PA, a daughter of Raymond and Helen J. (Higley) Youmans. She had been previously employed by Wundies Undies in Liberty, PA, and at Weis Market, Wellsboro, PA, in the bakery department. Ellie is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Darla (Dave) DeBlois of Ansonia, PA, Jen (Don Lutz) Frey of Liberty, PA, and Naomi (Will) Allen of Nauvoo, PA; a son-in-law, John Frey of Liberty, PA; 8 grandchildren, Yvonne Lynne Myers, Melissa (Rob) Sholes, Yvonne Lynette (Brian Kahil) DeBlois, Jared (Sarah) DeBlois, Jacob (Stephanie) Frey, Emma Frey, Olivia Allen; great granddaughter, Elena; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond (Lula) Youmans of Muncy, PA, and Harold (Nancy) Youmans of Waco; a sister, Edith Youmans of Wellsboro, PA; and a sister-in-law Donna Youmans of Mansfield, PA. Ellie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Monica House and Tammy Hamilton; grandson, Andrew Reeder; a brother, William Youmans, and a sister, Sara Prince. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will immediately follow the viewing at the funeral home at 11:00 A.M.
