Obituary of Dennis L. Butler

Dennis L. Butler, age 69, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. He was born on August 24, 1952 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Weldon and Pauline (Lee) Butler. Dennis was self-employed as a logger. He enjoyed gardening, spending time outside, spending time with family and friends, and Harley Davidson's. Dennis is survived by his daughters, Nicole Butler of Wellsboro, PA, Denice Butler of Bradford, PA, Andrea Butler of Blossburg, PA, and Megan Butler of Middlebury, PA; nine grandchildren, Samantha (Mark) Kirk, Nikolas Bowen, Jake, Brooke, and Olivia Burrows, Caden Bartlett, Hannah, David, and Lillee-Anne Robinson; two brothers, Melvin Butler of Wellsboro, PA, and Jim Butler of Bath, NY; a sister, Gloria Repard of Owego, NY; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Dakota Bowen; and a brother, Weldon Butler, Jr. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA to assist the family with expenses.
