Obituary of Marie S Aylesworth
Marie S. Aylesworth, age 90, of Wellsboro, PA, formerly of Liberty, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Broad Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on November 25, 1930 in Liberty, PA, a daughter of Earl and Mary (Mase) Stewart. Marie was married to the late Theodore Aylesworth. She worked as a seamstress for Wundies Undies and was a member of Liberty Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. Marie enjoyed spending time with her family, crafts, traveling, and Scottish heritage.
Marie is survived by her son, Monte (Cheryl) Mase of Roaring Branch, PA; a daughter Maureen (Clifford) Tegart of Liberty, PA; two grandchildren, Stephanie (Shane) Maneval, and Shanon (Todd) German; five great grandchildren, Rachael (Dustin) Hopkins, Mickayla (David) Fizzano, Shanson Maneval, Andrew James "AJ" (Elizabeth "Liz" Williams) Graham, and Dalton Graham. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Romaine Mase; second husband, Leon Mase; third husband, Theodore Aylesworth; a sister, Ernestine "Teenie" Geiser; and a grandson-in-law, Andy Graham.
Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 10:00-11:00am at East Point United Methodist Church Route 414 Roaring Branch, PA. A funeral service will follow immediately at 11:00am with Pastor Tom Harmic officiating. Burial will take place in Union Cemetery in Liberty, PA. Services are under the direction of Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA.
