Obituary of Frederick George Dibble
Frederick Dibble age 82 of Elkland, PA died Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at his residence. He was the husband of Meredith (Gee) Dibble. Frederick was born on November 29, 1938, in Ogdensburg, PA a son of William and Grace (VanTassel) Dibble. He had worked for Tayton's Trucking in Wellsboro, PA. Frederick was a member of the Mansfield VFW, Knoxville Firehall, Morris Run Legion and was a US Navy veteran having served in the Korean War.
Frederick is survived by his wife; two sons, Fred Dibble of TN, Marlon (Julie) Dibble of TN; three daughters, Pamela Christie of Stafford, VA, Yvonne Krothe of Stafford, VA, Robin and Gary Honaker of Amissville, VA; stepdaughter Bobbie and Mike Thompson of Lawrenceville, PA; 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; a sister Norma Smith of Lebanon, PA; two stepbrothers, Ronnie and Daryl Dibble of Woodhall, NY. He was preceded in death by a brother Bill and a sister Phyllis.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 2:00pm at Forestview Manor 101 Forestview Ave Elkland, PA 16920 in the Senior Citizens Community Room. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family. Contributions may be made to assist with the expenses to the funeral home.
