Obituary of Maude Charlotte Lowe

Maude "Mattie" Charlotte Lowe, age 76, of Covington, PA, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on June 23, 1945 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Clifford and Nellie (Simons) Benson. Mattie was married to Philip Maurice Lowe for 56 years. She was a hairdresser and owned Three C's Styling Salon. Mattie was a member of Mansfield Business Women's Club formerly known as BPW. She also did some modeling and was a judge for a preteen contest. Mattie is survived by her husband; a son, Michael (Karen) Lowe of Telford, PA; two daughters, Shelly (Tom) Gee of Middlebury Center, PA, and Phylis (Paul) Jensen of Gaines, PA; three grandchildren, Dillon Herrold, Adam Lowe, and Ryan Lowe; a brother, Andrew (Shirley) Benson of Blossburg, PA; a sister, Roberta (Dale) Pierce of Four Oaks, NC; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Christopher Lowe. Friends and family are invited to call on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 1-2pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S.
