Obituary of McKenzi Lauren Cunningham

McKenzi Lauren Cunningham, age 28, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at UPMC Hospital in Williamsport, PA. She was born on August 20, 1992 in York, PA, a daughter of Edward Cunningham and Lisa (Flynn) Cunningham-Wood. McKenzi worked at Walmart as a cashier and enjoyed volleyball, soccer, tennis, music, playing the flute, and cats. She won the President Eisenhauer Academic Award. McKenzi is survived by her mother and stepfather, Lisa and Ted Wood of Mansfield, PA; a daughter, Nevaeh Beckett of Mansfield, PA; her boyfriend, Rich Mueller of Mansfield, PA; maternal grandmother, Lucille Yingling of Gettysburg, PA; paternal grandfather, Edward Cunningham of Gettysburg, PA; two brothers, Malachi (Channelle Mayer) Cunningham of Wellsboro, PA, and Myles Cunningham of Williamsport, PA; two sisters, Megan Cunningham of Monroeton, PA, Morgan Cunningham of York, PA; a stepsister, Ciara Cunningham of Elmira, NY; and two stepbrothers, Brady Wood of Carlisle, PA, and Blayne Tomlinson of Elmira, NY. She was preceded in death by her father; the father of her daughter, Scott Joseph Beckett; and a paternal grandmother, Patricia DiMarco. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 4-6pm at 416 O'Dell Rd. Mansfield, PA. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
