Obituary of Bertha Anne Miller
Bertha Anne Miller, age 77, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Broads Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on December 30, 1943 in Corning, NY, a daughter of Harry and Ruth (Copp) Mosher. Bertha was married to the late William Paul Miller who passed away on August 12, 2011. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, birdwatching, fishing, traveling, and spending time with her friends, family, and caregivers. Bertha loved her cats Taco and Shadow.
Bertha is survived by her son, Ray (Bobby Losinger) Rathbun of Wellsboro, PA; four daughters, Barbara Wismer of Champagne, IL, and Lisa (Glenn) Sidler of Lexington, KY, Mary (Les) VanZile of Lexington, SC, and Sherri Hunter of Lexington, SC; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; a brother, David (Debbie) Mosher of Horseheads, NY; and her special friends, Pam English of Wellsboro, PA, and Wendy Nason of Wellsboro, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Terry Mosher; and a sister, Evelyn Jackson.
Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 1-3pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow immediately at 3pm with Pastor Pat Parson officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Second Chance Animal Care Sanctuary 725 Gee Rd.
