Obituary of Gisela Merrick

Gisela (Bechtel) Merrick, age 86, of Westfield, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at The Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on June 5, 1934 in Baalborn, Germany, a daughter of Aturt and Margaret Bechtel. Gisela was married to the late Llewellyn Merrick who passed away on November 9, 2004. Gisela is survived by her sons, Gerald (Cindie) Merrick of Williamsport, PA, Vaughn (Lynda Harmon) Merrick of Westfield, PA; a daughter, Debbie Merrick of Wellsboro, PA; seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Donald Merrick; and a sister, Elizabeth. In honoring Gisela's wishes, there will be no services. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
