Obituary of Leon Cleveland
Leon W. Porky Cleveland, age 85, of Covington, PA, died Saturday, February 16, 2008 at his home. Leon was born February 15, 1923, a son of Lee H. and Eva May (Nelson) Cleveland. Leon was employed as a meat cutter for Marvins Market for 35 years. He was a member of the American Legion in Morris Run, PA, and enjoyed traveling and antiques. Leon was a World War II veteran in the U.S. Army.
Leon is survived by a sister, Dorotha Webster of Covington, PA; two brothers, Charles Cleveland of Wellsboro, PA, and Van Cleveland of Montoursville, PA; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Burton, Paul and Robert Cleveland, and a sister, Rosella Walters.
In keeping with Leons wishes, services will be private. Burial will be in Gray Cemetery, Covington, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main Street, Mansfield, PA 16933. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
