Obituary of Daniel Lee Strange
Daniel Lee Strange, 64, of Wichita Falls, Texas formally of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021.
Daniel was born on July 21, 1956 in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania to the late Arthur W. and Loris (Knowlton) Strange. He was a 1974 graduate of Mansfield Jr/Sr. High School in Mansfield, PA. Daniel worked as a quality control inspector for several manufacturers in the Wichita Falls, TX area.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents Marcus & Myrtle (Rice) Strange, and Richard & Dorothea (Rose) Knowlton.
Daniel is survived by his wife Carma, children Angela Watson and Mary Denise Sorrells of Coleman, Texas, John Taylor Sorrells and Monty Dale Weaver of Lawton, Texas; grandchildren Kayla, Tresten, Blake, Kelby, Kenny, Ashley, Harley, and Lisha; three great grandchildren; sister; Debra (Matt) Catellier of Mansfield, PA, Michael Deming of Holliday, Texas and Arthur Strange Jr. of Millerton, PA; stepsister Vicky Smith of Erin, NY; stepbrothers John (Haidee) Deming of Blossburg, PA, Adam Deming of Indianapolis, IN, Vernon Winnie of Millerton, PA, and Donald (Debra) Hilfiger of Erin, NY.
Graveside services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Crestview Memorial Park with Rev. Chad Stubblefield officiating.
A “Celebration of Life” gathering will be held Saturday, Mary 22, 2021 at the Mainesburg Community Center, Mainesburg, PA starting at 4pm.
