Obituary of Thomas Schmouder

Thomas C. Schmouder, age 70, of Trout Run, PA, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 12, 1950 in Buttonwood, PA, the son of Clair and Gladys (Earhart) Schmouder. Thomas was married to Janie (Kinley) Schmouder for 26 years. He owned his own excavating business, Schmouder Construction. Thomas attended Harvest Family Fellowship and pursued Jesus every day. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, NASCAR, watching weird TV shows, and raising his kids. Thomas touched the lives of many people and knew no strangers only future friends. Thomas is survived by his wife; eleven children, Leslie (Jodi) Schmouder of Trout Run, PA, Adam (Rebecca) Vroman of Milan, PA, Yvonne (Bart) Kinley of Trout Run, PA, David (Erin Topf) Schmouder of Trout, Run, PA, Stacy Andrews of Montgomery, PA, and Angela (Chance Katz) Best of Montoursville, PA; Rachael (Travis) Oakley of FL, Jessica (Destiny) Butler of Mansfield, PA, Noah Spencer of Liberty, PA, Nicholas Lowry of Liberty, PA, and Nehemiah Spencer of Liberty, PA; numerous grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 1-3pm at Harvest Family Fellowship 28 Shaffer Hill Rd. Liberty, PA 16930. A celebration of his life will follow immediately at 3pm with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Harvest Family Fellowship.
