Obituary of Lois Garrison
Lois (York) Garrison, age 94, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Broad Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on January 23, 1927 in Sylvania, PA, a daughter of Warren and Mildred (Baity) York. Lois was the wife of Kenneth "Ben" Benedict Garrison who she celebrated 72 years of marriage with. She was the co-owner and co-operator of Garrison's Men's Clothing. Lois was a member of First United Methodist Church and enjoyed weaving, sewing, reading, and quilting.
Lois is survived by her husband; a son, Merle Benedict "Dick" (Mona) Garrison of Mansfield, PA; two daughters, Elizabeth (Howard Raskin) Garrison of Wellsboro, PA, and Cynthia (Jack) Beideman of Morris, PA; two grandchildren, Megan and Paige; four great grandchildren, Adelaid , Kesslyn, Rhett, and Orrin; a sister, Mary Pazahanick of Pine City, NY; and a sister-in-law, Marcia York of FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Ronald Warren York.
Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 1-2pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow immediately at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First United Methodist Church 67 E. Wellsboro St. Mansfield, PA 16933.
