Obituary of James B. Aldrich
James B. Aldrich, age 68, of New Bloomfield, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at his home. He was born on June 28, 1952 in Wellsboro, PA, the son of Barrett and Madeline (Harris) Aldrich. James was a mechanic for Penske and was an avid hunter. He enjoyed working on racecars and NASCAR and was a member of the Big Elm Fire Department in Daggett, PA for many years.
James is survived by his significant other, Linda Cooper of New Bloomfield, PA; a son James (Sharon) Aldrich of Carlisle, PA; a daughter, Kristie (Kevin) Hill of Covington, PA; five grandchildren, Kaleb, Keegan, Kalvin, Kasey, and Lovely; one great grandchild, LyLeah; the mother of his children, Roxie Aldrich of Wellsboro, PA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 2:00-4:00pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow immediately at 4:00pm with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating. Burial will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Elmira, NY.
