Obituary of Richard L. Deacon
Richard L. Deacon, age 79, of Galeton, PA, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at The Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. He was born on March 28, 1941 in North Tonawanda, NY, a son of Joseph and Emma (Ramino) Deacon. Richard was the husband of the late Rosemary Deacon.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Penny (Kelvin) Cummings of Lawrenceville, PA; two sons, Timothy Deacon of Tioga, PA, and Tracy Deacon of Tioga, PA; six grandchildren, Cassandra, Brittany, Eric, Travis, Hannah, and Kimberly; and three great grandchildren, Chloe, Sadie, and Aubriana. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a stepdaughter, Lori Wiltz; and a brother, Perry Deacon.
In honoring Richard's wishes, there will be no services. Burial will take place in West Hill Cemetery in Galeton, PA. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
