Obituary of Ronald Gene Atkinson, II

Ronald Gene Atkinson, II, age 41, of Morris Run, PA passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. He was born on December 5, 1979 in Wellsboro, Pa, a son of Ronald Gene Atkinson, Sr. and Dianne (Hilfiger) Messner. Ronald worked as a logger for Sourbeer Logging. He enjoyed hunting and being in the woods. Ronald is survived by his mother and step-father, Dianne and Gary Messner of Roaring Branch, PA; daughter Aurora Atkinson of Watsontown, PA; brother Adam (Katey) Breon of Mansfield, PA; sisters Spring (Joe) Kyle of Liberty, PA, Beth (Joe) Smith of Millerton, PA and Nicolee (Bob) Coles of Granville Summit, PA; girlfriend Betty Johnson and her three children Cassie Bentley, McKenzie Johnson and Dale Page, Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald. A private memorial service will be held at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA with Pastor Tom Harmic officiating.
