Obituary of William "Bill" Bogaczyk
William "Bill" Bogaczyk, Sr., age 78, of Blossburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at his home. He was born on June 30, 1942 in Blossburg, PA, a son of Vincent and Mary (Tafelski) Bogaczyk. Bill worked as an assembler for Dresser Industries and was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Hillside Rod and Gun Club and the American Legion in Blossburg.
Bill is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, William and Jessa Bogaczyk of Syracuse, NY; a brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Erna Bogaczyk of Blossburg, PA; and two sisters, Teresa Steves of Blossburg, PA, and Gertrude Burt of Elmira, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Clement, Joseph, and Vincent; and six sisters, Celia, Margaret, Gina, Dorothy, Marian, and Helen.
Friends and family are invited to call on Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Child Catholic Church, 240 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA with Reverend Bryan Wright as celebrant.
