Obituary of Ann T. McCarthy

Ann T. (Labosky) McCarthy, age 93, of Mansfield, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 10, 1927 in Olyphant, PA, a daughter of George and Kathryn (Semonick) Labosky. Ann and her husband, Paul J. McCarthy, celebrated 65 years of marriage on August 27, 2020. She retired from Mansfield University and was a member of Holy Child Catholic Church. Ann enjoyed gardening, sewing, watching and feeding her birds, but mostly enjoyed being with her family. Ann is survived by her husband; two sons, Frank (Sara) McCarthy of San Jose, CA, and David (Brenda) McCarthy of Lewisburg, PA; a daughter, Donna (Wayne) Krause of Middleburg, PA; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Martha; four brothers, Paul, Lee, Phil, and Joe; and her special Angel Tammy Rice. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Mike, Pete, George, and Samuel. In honoring Ann's wishes, there will be no services. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
