Dear Betty, Val, and David,
My sincere sympathy to you and your family. Doug will be greatly missed. I always enjoyed your visits when you would stay in Crossingville with Margie and my dad. I will miss Doug so much! Visiting with you was always a true joy. I know Doug was so special to the Peterman family. I was very appreciative of the sermons he sent me in paper form. His encouragement was often so needed. May God strengthen you all as you think back on your life with Doug. May you be comforted by warm memories of him in your life. I look forward to seeing him in Heaven. Love and Prayers, Betty White

My deepest sympathy and prayers to Rev Hodge's family. I have memories of playing against the Jackson Summit church softball team back in the late 60'a. However, I have one special memory. My church, the Lindley Community Church, was playing a softball game in Covington with the Jackson Summit church. I was playing second base. Rev Hodge yelled out to me, watch out I'm going to send you a line drive. Well he did! It came so fast and hard all I did was step out of the way and let the ball go into center field. A very special memory. I can rejoice I will see him in heaven some day. Maybe we will get to play softball together again. May God carry each of you in His loving arms. They the precious memories close to your heart.
