Obituary of Eugene Haley

Eugene R. Haley, Sr., age 84, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. He was born on November 24, 1936 in West Philadelphia, PA, a son of Harvey and Marie (Crowe) Haley. Eugene was married to Teresa R. (Procopio) Haley. He was an electrical engineer for the Federal Government and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Eugene was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Wellsboro and the Tioga County Honor Guard. Eugene is survived by his wife; two sons, Eugene (Amelia) Haley, Jr. of Hereford, PA, and Francis "Frank" Haley of Tioga, PA; a daughter, Lisa (David) Hathaway of Quakertown, PA; five grandchildren, Melissa, Christine, Rebecca, Alisa, and Jenifer. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Carl Zimmerman; and a sister, Dolores Scavatta. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
