Obituary of Marian E. Komishock
Marian Edith Komishock, age 76, of Blossburg, PA, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 at her home where she lived with her niece Donna and husband Eric Schewe and sister-in-law Agnes Kirkpatrick. She was born on July 1, 1944 in Hazleton, PA, a daughter of Harry and Jane (Howey) Miller. Marian retired from the Whitehaven Center where she worked as a chef. She loved to travel, and Las Vegas was her favorite destination. Marian also enjoyed country music and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was loved by everyone who knew her.
Marian is survived by her sisters; Mary Lou Dias of Whitehaven, and Joan Dias of Hazleton; two children, Debbie Walton and fiancé, Daniel (Tiger) Kay of Freeland, PA, Brenda and Wendy Walton of Whitehaven, PA; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Audrey, Kenny, Sheila, Amber, Austin, Alyssa, and Alexia; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a son, Daniel Walton.
Marian will be buried next her husband at Saint Mary's in Freeland, PA. A special thank you to her aides: Erin, Joann, Loretta, and Brooke for loving her and always keeping her safe and happy. The family wishes memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's & Dementia Association. www.alz.org A funeral service will be announced at a later date.
