Obituary of Andrea Irwin

Andrea L. Irwin, age 71, of Blossburg, PA, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital. She was born on May 2, 1949 in Troupsburg, NY, a daughter of LeRoy and Wilda (King) Treat. Andrea was the wife of Samuel Irwin, Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Child Catholic Church, the Arnot Sportsmen's Club, and the Hillside Rod and Gun Club. Andrea enjoyed canning, crafting, and spending time with her grandchildren. Andrea is survived by her husband; three sons, Samuel (Kelly) Irwin, Jr. of Covington, PA, and Charles (Danielle) Irwin of Covington, PA, William (Nichole) Saia of Savannah, NY; three daughters, Dawn Marie (Chuck) Nelson of Winnie, TX, and Mary Anne ( Barry Bills) Hulslander of Gap, PA; and Marty Beth (Kenny Fields) Saia of Gibson, NY; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; four brothers, Richard Housel of WV, Thomas Housel of Covington, Doyce Treat of Wellsboro, and Nevin Treat of Mansfield; and two sisters, Amber Steves of Wellsboro, and Michelle Lorson of Williamsport. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Aiden Irwin, and a brother, Joseph Housel. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 10:30am at Holy Child Catholic Church in Mansfield, PA with Reverend Bryan Wright as celebrant. Services are under the direction of Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Blossburg.
