Obituary of Ernest M. Johnson

Ernest M. Johnson, age 91, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Broad Acres in Wellsboro. He was born on April 2, 1929 in Morris Run, PA, a son of Charles and Emma (Carew) Johnson. Ernest was married to Anna (Walker) Johnson who passed away on June 3, 2019. He worked in construction as a laborer and was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Korean War. Ernest was a member of the Mansfield VFW, Arnot Sportsmen's Club, and the Blossburg American Legion. Ernest is survived by his daughter, Kim Johnson of Mansfield; five step daughters, Beverly Frost, Darla Kinat, Linda, Deb, and Barbie Walker; and two step sons, David English of SC, and John; one grandchild, Ross Johnson; several step grandchildren; and a sister, Peg (Pete) DeLosa of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anna; his first wife, Norma Johnson; a son, Larry Johnson; a sister, Betty Janeski; and a brother, Charles Johnson. A private funeral service will be held at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. Burial will take place in Tioga County Memorial Gardens.
