Obituary of Patricia A. Barner

Patricia A. Barner, age 81, of Roaring Branch, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Aristacare in Montoursville, PA after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. She was born on January 21, 1939, in Williamsport, the daughter of Arthur and Clarissa "Faye" (Moyer) Holcomb. Patricia was married to Lowell N. Barner who passed away on April 11, 2004. She graduated from Geisinger as a Registered Nurse and then worked at Blossburg and Williamsport Hospitals. Patricia also worked as a visiting nurse. She was member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and enjoyed making quilts for Project Linus, traveling, and rescuing cats. Patricia is survived by her daughters, Bambi Cramm of Roaring Branch, and Jonna (David) Cook of Rockledge, FL; four grandchildren, Dana (Kyle) Kaplan, Melissa Cramm, Sam Cook, and Mitchell Cramm; and a brother, Lee (Nancy) Holcomb of Alexandria, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. In honoring Patricia's wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions can be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church 10925 State Route 414, Roaring Branch, PA 17765. Burial will take place in East Point Cemetery. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
