I remember the last time mom (Dena,his sister) and I went to PA to visit Grandma and Grandpa. I was snooping around in the bedrooms upstairs and found a first run paperback of Dune in Uncle Jerry's room. I snitched it. His coolness meter went waaay up for me when I found that. Wish I'd had the chance to talk Dune with him.
So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I'm glad I was able to see him this year. Hecwas an inspiration to all "learners". Thoughts and prayers are with you Smith family.
