Obituary of H. Joann Beer Miller
H. Joann "Jo" (Kitchen) Beers Miller, age 85, of Westfield, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport. She was born on December 26, 1934 in Dubois, PA, a daughter of Sylvester and Florence (MaGill) Kitchen. Joann was the wife of Richard "Rick" Miller. She was a mail clerk at the US Post Office in Lawrenceville and was a member of People's Church of Potter Brook. Joann enjoyed crocheting, playing piano, and shopping for her grandchildren.
Joann is survived by her husband; two sons, Chuck (Debbie) Beer of Corning, NY, and Don (Tricia) Beer of LaGrangeville, PA; a daughter, Debbie (Roger) Hills of Lawrenceville; nine grandchildren, Tatiana (Travis) Henry, Michael Beer, Erin (Todd) Terpstra, Amy (Diego) Gomez, Adam (Tara) Hills, Alicia (Wayne) Yates, Aaron (Molly) Beer, Garrett (Erin) Beer, and Cassandra (john) Rink; 21 great grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Kitchen of Dubois. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Emma Schogren.
A private service will be held at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. Burial will take place in Tioga County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to East Lindley Church, 10039 Tannery Creek Rd. Corning, NY 14830 or People's Church of Potter Brook, 62 State Route 49, Westfield, PA 16950.
