Obituary of David Lawrence Kriner

David Lawrence Kriner, age 42, of Gillett, PA passed away at his home on Saturday, September 26, 2020. He was born on September 11, 1978 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Mark and Luanne (Bartlett) Kriner. David was the husband of Emily (Jayne) Kriner. He worked as a mechanic at Cole & Burd Chevrolet in Mansfield, PA, Calkins Motor Sales in Troy, PA, Autozone and Monro Auto Service. David played football for North Penn High School from 1994-1997 and later coached the wrestling team at Mansfield High School. He enjoyed the derby, showing cows for FFA and 4H, and spending time with his family. David is survived by his wife Emily; mother Luanne Kriner of Mansfield, PA; son Dale Kriner of Gillett, PA; daughter Samantha (Josh Ayers) Kriner of Gillett, PA; special children Ty, Caleb, Dan and Dejha; brother Jason (Billie Jo) Kriner of Mansfield, PA; brother Gary (Eve) Kriner of Pittsburgh, PA; father-in-law Gerald (Darlene) Jayne of Gillett, PA; mother-in-law Reta (George) Ogden of Troy, PA; brothers-in-law Craig (Pam) Jayne and children of Troy, PA and Jeremy (Sara) Jayne and children of Troy, PA; uncle and aunt Elwin and Michelle Kriner of Covington, PA; nephews Nathan, Zachary and Justin Kriner; nieces Grace and Kyrie Kriner; granddaughter Jannah Dobell; many great aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends Dan Perry and David Hart. He was preceded in death in 2020 by his father Mark Kriner, uncle Lynn Kriner and grandmother Alverta Kriner. Family and friends are invited to call from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 6:00 P.M. Contributions may be made the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
