Obituary of John R. Pino
John R. Pino, Sr., age 83, of Covington, PA, died Saturday, November 22, 2008 at his home. John was born November 5, 1925 in Mansfield, PA, a son of Ross and Lena (Howe) Pino. John was the husband of the late Betty J. (Johnston) Pino who died in 2002. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, Past Commander of the Mansfield VFW, a charter member of the NRA, a member of the Tioga Co. Early Days, and numerous tractor organizations. He enjoyed farming.
John is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John Jr. and Kathy Pino of Covington, PA; three daughters and sons-in-law, Dian and Bill Linam of Covington, PA, Sue Ann Tokarz of Morris Run, PA, and Glenda and Ronald Moore of Morris Run, PA; 9 grandchildren including a special grandson and caregiver, John (Lesa) Pino, III; 6 great grandchildren; a brother Ross Pino of Covington, PA. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty, a son, Richard in 2008.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA.
